Mostly, I agree, but I think maybe you and Sven are mixing Old World/New 
World with 1st/2nd/3rd World - they're different concepts (or at least 
different ways of dividing the world into convenient slices).

The way we call "our worlds" dates back to Columbus era (nothing to do with
iron curtain or economy), so Sven is right and others are wrong.
