Hi! ===8<==============Original message text=============== DB2> So I ended up trying several old and new lenses on the *ist D. A wide DB2> selection of results is visible here:

Just see the pictures and then decide by yourself which lenses DB2> are good or bad, which are up to your expectations and if the *ist D is DB2> worth such lenses (or the other way round). DB2> It took me almost all the day to shoot, select and compare images, then crop DB2> details and put everything together for publishing. I do hope someone will DB2> appreciate that stuff. DB2> Thanks for your attention. DB2> Dario Bonazza ===8<===========End of original message text=========== Thank you very much, Dario. This is what we need I suppose - the test data without much comment. Everyone would make their own conclusions and hopefully flame won't result out of this. My conclusion, for example is that my recent enablement K24/2.8 (which should be optically identical to A24/28) is no slouch <grin>. Which is excellent news for me. Also, indeed, you did one heck of a job which I personally appreciate very much. Finally, I am glad you did not shoot brick walls for the tests... You know, brick wall pictures don't make me feel any good <grin>... Really, thanks for an excellent job! Boris
