Let me close this. Pentax made a 49 and a 52 reversing ring. I have the former, got a 58->49 reversing ring and took a photo which came up clean of vignetting. Thanks for the suggestion. Of course the problem is that the 28-80 is not that useful with a reversing ring, as the DOF is mms particularly at the wide end, and it's so close focusing that you have to think hard about light and flash. So, the clear winner for my lens set is the M75-150/4, with which I have managed viewable, handheld picture. Kostas
