I have a couple of Sandidisks. They're slow, but work fine. I'm not sure if they have higher speed models or not. Most of my cards are Transcend which I got from here: http://www.mydigitaldiscount.com/ The rest are Lexars 16 and 40x. They wouldn't work in my friend's D1X, so he sold them to me. They act a little "funny" sometimes - every once in a while the reader will take 20 or 30 minutes just to read the card, once one appeared to be corrupted. tv
