I'm curious, Bill. Is this the first DSLR that you ever used properly? I can understand. But look at my situation: I picked it up a year ago, and it didn't say Pentax on it, and I was going through exactly what you are now. I had no choice. It was like Invasion of the Body Snatchers. I sold out with a grin on my face. I *had* to. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
