Sylwester, sorry it took me so long to get back to you. When you're in manual mode, you rotate the wheel to change the speed, and press the AV button and rotate the wheel to change the aperture. But in AV mode, you just rotate the wheel to change the aperture. Same goes for speed when you're in TV mode. I don't think you can freely switch between matrix and partial metering, but I'm not positive.
