Anyone who is subscribed twice (or maybe more) can fix it by unsubscribing over and over until the get a message back that says they are not on the list. Then resubscribe once. If after a short time you do not get a subscribed message, unsubscribe and resubscribe again. Any time you are going to try an resubscribe to a mailing list it is good to unsubscribe first just to make sure you are not already subscribed.
