I know, an amateur question, but what would you expect coming from a lifelong K1000 owner. Anyway I picked up one of those new fancy automated ZX5Ns and was wondering what the differences are in the F and FA mounts?
FA lenses have MTF chips inside and only Z-1 & Z-1p use this info afaik. FA* lenses also have MF/AF focus ring which you can turn the lens into MF lenses without switching the camera into MF mode. F* lenses cannot do that. Other than that, F & FA lenses are basically the same.
