I, too, was "enabled" by the list and got an MX recently. Quite simply, it is the most "pentaxish" of all the Pentax 35 mm SLR's. It's small, mechanical, well made, and sits well in your hands. (Assuming you don't have large hands. If so, get a 6x7 but don't handhold it ;-0 See Above) It also has all of the important basic controls. The funny part is that it's "light" by metal camera standards. The modern plastic versions, the latest of which is the *ist, are much lighter.
