hi all, i've been a lurker way back in 2000/2001. and became a tad disillusioned when i lost my job (source of cash to buy photo toys) and when my pz-1p broke down and along with it my tokina atx 28-70 f/2.6-2.8.
at any rate.....i need a camera fast--as in ASAP. i do have a lens (if my friend can find the 35-200mm tamron lens i lent her). but i cannot get my pz-1p repaired fast enough (the reflex mirror--the left side hinge mount is broken.) so i was wondering if anyone here uses the ZX-L (what a smart little camera--i shall buy this) and the 500 FTZ flash. i need this camera for p&s action wedding shots. i used to use my pz-1p and tokina for the bulk of these shots before and have had tremendous success. i still have an atx 80-200mm f/2.8 lens which i'll use for the longer distance shots. but such a bulky lens is ridiculously looking on such a small camera body. no worries. in the end, as long as the shots come out decent then it'll be okay. its a 'shoot-to-kill' situation. so i'm hoping for about a few good frames out of a roll as satisfactory. please reply to me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] as that is the fastest way. thank you all. -raphael p.s. depending on the health of my web server at home, there are some past image galleries of stuff i've shot with my pz-1p, sf-1n, and mx at http://raphtze.dynu.com/2/galleries.asp there's also other interesting bits about myself. cheers!
