I had one for a year. I did not consider the metal mount a con when the whole camera is plastic. In fact I quite like the layout of the camera. The only reason I sold it was the blurred & distorted viewfinder which made precise manual focus really difficult. If it were an AF camera, that poor viewfinder would be ok. But it's not.

What if instead of my ME Super, should it not survive the repair, I were to buy new/used MZ-M - classic layout, small, light, manual focus, DOF preview, .77 magnification (only MZ-3/5n is bigger), and so on?

Is there anyone on the list who acutally uses it? How non-metal mount survives massive lens changes? How do you like your camera?
