Maris, the town is Victoria, BC, Canada. Head west, and when you get to the coast, get on the ferry and go further west. Many retired people, many university students, and many artists, which accounts for all the art galleries. Also lots of deer in the suburbs, a popular snack for the cougars. The cougars are almost never seen in town, though. Make the trip and see for yourself sometime.
