I'm guessing I'll be buying a new digital SLR every 5 years or so even if they are built like tanks and the body still work just fine.
Once the industry is through with the megapixel race, I'm guessing they'll move on to the dynamic range race, lo-noise race, high sensitivity race and on and on. Every 5 years or so I'll probably want to buy a new camera to get a better sensor.
One of the biggest advantages of film cameras is the film itself. My 30 year old Spotmatics use the same great new films as my 5n.
Oh well, if it's not one thing it's another.....
See you later, gs
