Hi all, I picked up the 165mm f/2.8 for my 6x7 today. The body was also back from repair so it looks like I'll be doing a bit of shooting this weekend.
The lens is in excellent condition: just a couple of bits of internal dust; nothing to worry about. The shop listed it as 8/10 but its getting close to a 9 in my opinion. They also had a hood for the 90mm f/2.8, which I nabbed very quickly. I've been looking for one of these ever since I got that lens. I had a look at a late-model (looked brand new) 55mm f/4. Nice lens but I already have the 45mm which is about half the size. The 55 had quite a "plastic" feel to it. Also saw a Takumar 35mm f/4.5 fisheye which had a damaged front element (small chips in the glass). And a helicoid extension tube which was quite interesting but not very useful to me. So at last my 6x7 collection appears to be complete: one 6x7 MLU body with wooden grip, waist-level and metered prism finders, 45mm f/4, 90mm f/2.8, 165mm f/2.8 and 300mm f/4 lenses, and a set of extension tubes. A 67II would be nice though. Oh dear, KEH has both a 67II and a 400mm f/4 ED IF... must resist... Cheers, - Dave http://www.digistar.com/~dmann/
