Yes, I also prefer using non-auto extension tubes. I have only two of the three (the longest and the shortest) Pentax non-auto tubes; they came as a sort of "additional freebie" with something else that I bought in an eBay auction. The short one is always in my bag "just in case". One of the reasons I bought the Pentax 80-200/2.8 over the Sigma and the Tokina was the fact that the Pentax focuses a lot closer. Throw in a short extension tube or achromatic close-up lens and it makes a good macro lens when I don't have my 100/2.8 macro with me. -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
