hello all, I just want to say that after three years of not reading
anything from the pentax discursion list i kinda miss being here, I was
usually a lurker just reading and learning, but I'm glad to be back on the
list again.
so here is my question, I have not used my camera for quite a while so i
decided to kinda play with it a week ago, I have a PZ-1p and a 28-70? zoom
lens (not pentax) I shot a whole roll of film, I used the built in flash
for all my shots and my setting was on auto, when i got my pictures back
they are all kinda burnt, very bright, but not that bad though like theres
a subtle glow on skin tones, or lightly washed out for outdoor scenes. I
was thinking that the TTL metering would compensate for this and stop down
either shutter speed, film speed or f/stops? I know its my lazy brain
working to use the auto setting but I'm kinda worried that my camera since
not using it for quite a while is not working properly. Is there a way for
me to check if the built in flash, TTL metering, and auto setting is still
working to its factory specs? is the PZ-1p really like that?, thanks in
advance
Benedict
