A-P, Got the 1/4" whit/unc tap and some stainless steel bolts from Metaplan. Thanks for the tip. I'll go to the Peruskoulu, where they have a lathe and a few other things, and do the job tomorrow. Then all I need is a tabletop to work on. Most of my space is occupied by microscopes, PCs and messy biological preparation stuff now.
