If one removes the aperture lever of a K or M lens it would act like the M42 lenses - that's easily done. But afterwards it would work in no way on a pre-*ist-D-body. So one has to decide. Perhaps I will do it with some of my K and M lenses, if the *ist D is really not fully compatible to K and M lenses. Digital is such a step forward concerning my needs.
