Very cool, Dave, You're right about blues (and my favourite, jazz). It's just gotta be b&w, the grainier the better.
I took a bunch of shots at a friend's show, a year or so ago. They were in the process of putting together a CD. Never came out. They did buy an 8x10 glossy from me for dirt cheap, as a publicity thing - I thought it was the most boring shot from several rolls, but whatever... No matter, they're a very ordinary rock band - sort of the Doors meet Rush. Still waiting on that CD... <vbg> But, that's great news on your front. So, about that name: Nurah Blooze? I understand the Blooze part, but I suspect I'm missing something obvious about the Nurah part. congrats, frank [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > Hi all. > Last April the band i know(Nuraw Blooze)asked me to attend their final recording > session in the heart of Toronto,Bathurst south of Bloor St.,and take COLOUR snaps for > them. > I stress colour because everything i have done prior was B&W and they wanted colour > for > the CD. > (I still say blues artists look better at 3200 B&W<g>) > Well i meet up with the leader, and bass player, and the cd is now out. They plan on > selling > at their shows > only, for the time being. > Well i'm thrilled to death,at least a dozen or more of my photos are being used. They > did > this with their > own cash,so it was a none paying gig, unless you count a free lunch and beers.<vbg> > Thanks for listening,i'm just very happy to day. > > Dave (E&SBS)Brooks -- "The optimist thinks this is the best of all possible worlds.
