Good lesson to learn.  I learned my safely in my lap.

The trick to Portra NC is that it is supposed to be somewhat subdued
to hold the contrast across black and white.  Some people prefer it a
bit more contrasty so will overexpose it as you have.  Most people I
have heard shoot it at 320 for an overall good compromise.

Action shots - my rule of thumb is shoot everything that you can with
the 67.  You will quickly figure out what doesn't work well for you.
Other than noise and choice of lenses, I can shoot my 67II about
anywhere I can shoot the MX.  Timing is the trick, but is somewhat
learned as you become familiar with the camera.

For me, the fewer frames and cost per frame make me plan better what I
am shooting.
