Frank, For me it was just timing. I find that I enjoy taking pictures of people, but in this town one has to go out of the way to find them. And it does surprise me when people comment on my people images since I feel that they are lacking and I do not take many of them. Sure I shoot at events, but a crowd of people do not make a people shot.
So, I think the time constraints of the theme did it for me. I had just gotten off work, and short of going to the shopping centers you would not see too many people around. And they would not take to kindly to a photographer in their midst.
