Is flare about equivalent between the two? What I mean is, is the SMC
coating on the Pentax superior enought to allow it to use a smaller hood
while the Canon needs a larger hood to do the same job? Or did Pentax just
skimp on the hood and Canon provide the right size for that type lens?
