In the future, make it a "house rule" that no liquids be around your photography books. 4. Better yet, find a place to look at them that is semi-private, a favorite chair in a corner or something. 5. Even better never lay them down on furniture such as coffee tables that other people may be setting food/drink down on. 6. Also do not leave them open or spread out on furniture, unattended.
