On Friday night the wind was (mostly) just inconvenient: I couldn't use anything longer than 70mm because my lightweight tripod wouldn't hold it steady enough - some gusts threatened to topple the tripod and I didn't have any of the legs extended at all. The wind didn't get bad enough to be dangerous until Saturday morning when I was climbing down. I kept all my gear stowed in the pack (except for the camera with the 20mm lens inside my jacket) so I could devote both hands to the climb and it really wasn't a problem. Last night I discovered an undeveloped roll of film - the one I shot Saturday morning coming down the mountain. I should have those slides tomorrow.
