There have been discussions about photojournalism for the entire time I've been here, at the very least, and this is certainly the first time anybody has queried its suitability as a subject. In fact, if you take that approach you must immediately class as off topic everything related to photographers and to the subject matter of photography, as well as restricting all discussion of non-Pentax-related equipment, all discussions about film, batteries (please!), tripods, camera bags and so on. In sum: discussion must be about the Pentax company and their equipment only. Oh, and perhaps Matthias Klum because he used to use Pentax, and maybe Ringo Starr in the 1960s.
