That is something that takes a little bit of getting used to. I am now using it consistently and have a very low miss rate. Though, when in a rush it is easy enough to jump out of the menus. While shooting I have it set to switch through white balance settings. Considering everything else it has going for it, I can live with the minimal annoyance. And it is definitely its size that catches people's attention. Once I show them the camera and its features even they begin to rave about it. I still have people asking about how I manually focused the camera on Saturday night and still got some excellent shots with it. Ahhhh, photographer's secret (said solemnly while wringing the hands).
