Cotty,

I have a friend - who is a lurker on the list - who when the laughing gets
really rolling starts an excellent rendition of the Mutley snigger. I call
her Mutley at that point, which adds to the laughter.

A great laugh, when it comes from the heart.

-- Well slap my ass and call me Penelope Pitstop. I just looked
-- up in the
-- Route 66 Britain 99 and sure enough, there's a place called
-- Mutley in
-- Plymouth on the south coast of England :-)
--
-- Actually, a Mutley snigger is very difficult to do unless
-- you're a heavy
-- smoker (which I am not) or an asthmatic (which I am not).
-- It's a type of
-- cheeky laugh that an American cartoon character called Mutley does -
-- downtrodden sidekick of Dick Dastardly. I can do it (just), and a
-- colleague can do it very well ideed.
