Fine grain (VERY FINE GRAIN), but not overly sharp, nice tonal deliniation where flesh tones tend to happen, resists blowing out in the highlights and has excelleny shadow detail and shadow separation. I don't know about how permanent it is, if it's anything like T400CN, it won't be great. It is designed for colour paper (either chromogenic or regular), not real black and white.
