I'm quite pleased with the specs and the look of the *istD. I will probably buy one as soon as I can get one for less than $1000. In fact, I don't know what more I could have asked for. I certainly can't afford a $5000 full-frame DSLR. I'm kind of surprised at P�l's sudden turnabout. He used to defend everything Pentax did. This one was a no-brainer. It's the right product at the right time. Paul
