This is true not only in the US but everywhere. They don't get any information from
Japan until the product is released or they get some warning a few months ahead for
budgeting reason. You should also be sceptical to any info about things in the past
because Pentax never release this kind of info; at least not until its very old news.
The Pentax rep I've talked to says the hardly know anything and usually the press and
the internet community has better knowledge.
I wouldn't hold my breath for image stabilization and/or IS. Partularly the latter I
find unlikely, in spite of the rumors to the contrary (I might be proven wrong).
Theres still that suggestion of new lenses that match the MZ-S. These are obvious
candidates for the Japan camera show this month. What they are all about remains to be
seen.
