Yep. I had some done a couple of weeks ago. Entered a juried show that would accept *only* slides with entries, even though final works are assumed to be prints. For my black & white stuff (which is medium format, BTW), I had to scan the negs, crop to 2:3 height/width ratio and get slides made. I also had a couple of "Photoshopped" scans made into slides. >What were the results? Very good indeed. The lab I went to here in Pittsburgh charged about 6-7 dollars each.
