Well, there's a huge middle ground between "truly mint" and "ugly." I picked up a very nice chrome ES (which I prefer to the ESII, mainly because of the battery) for very little money. A quick search on eBay turns up *13* ES and ESII's, several of which are advertised as in excellent or better condition. Even if you factor in the cost of a CLA for each body, you can still get at least 5 or 6 ES bodies for the price of one FM3a. chris
