Just an update, (probably my final one). We managed to get a tranquillizing
dart in the animal last night while it was at the feeder. We had hoped it
would continue to feed and drop in the backyard. Instead, it decided to
hightail it to the woods where we lost it. We searched for more than two
hours in the woods but could not find it. By that time the tranquillizer
would have worn off and it would be on the move again. I think we've done all
we can. It's now in the Ministry of Natural Resources or Mother Nature's
hands....
