There's the MZ-5n and its slightly bigger brother, the MZ-3. The difference is the -3 had a higher top speed (1/4000), and a different mirror box construction. I want to say there was a difference in the flash, too, but that's just my foggy memory. There probably is not. Up from that, you can get something like a MZ-6 which works differently, more like the MZ-50 or an MZ-S, which I can't speak for its operation at all. If you're looking to go all manual, there's a heap of older bodies from Pentax, as well. > And have you as well experienced these weaknesses in the MZ-5n body or am I > just unlucky with my camera? I've had mine for.. uhm.. maybe two years now, maybe 18 months.. either way, its been reliable and troublefree..so far. > And is it true that these camera's are called differently in the USA? In the States, instead of being the MZ-xx, its the ZX-xx (except for teh MZ-S which is always MZ-S, and the MZ-6 which is the ZX-L in the USA, but the ZX-6 in Canada...you know, there's no need to present a unified line to teh world, its not like this internet thing is gonna take off... ;) -- http://www.infotainment.org <-> more fun than a poke in your eye. http://www.eighteenpercent.com <-> photography and portfolio.
