You can keep looking forever. High image quality with a 2X converter has never been achieved in spite of what numerous people claims. It is then only a matter of semantics of what constitutes high image quality. One thing is certain, no lens with quality of any lens + a 2X converter would have achieved a reputation or providing high image quality. A 2X converter spread whatever resolution your lens have over twice the area. In addition, it add it's own distortion as a perfect lens has never been made. You can do the math yourself. P�l
