Hi all,
I've recently found an SMC-A 50mm f/1.4 lens from a local shop. The guy
wants USD $109. He says the glass is in "mint condition" and the aperture
blades are working properly. Haven't had a chance to look at it yet, but
I'll probably take a look at it this afternoon. Does this sound like a
reasonable price, or am I likely to get a much better deal off eBay, etc? I
already have an SMC-M 50mm f/1.7 and an SMC-M 50mm f/2. The f/1.7 is
probably an EX- (due to a millimeter-size bright spot at the very edge of
one of the elements) and the f/2 probably an EX to EX+. I'm tempted to
offer one of these (or perhaps both) in trade, to help offset the cost.
Would anyone care to estimate what I might expect to get for either of these
two lenses in such a deal?
Thanks in advance for any help.
