Mark - I know it exists also because I own two. You may recall, this is the
lens about which I wrote last week or so, asking about a repair to the front
group (the two elements coming unglued). My good one is a very fine lens. I
bought the F100 f2.8 for the one-stop speed advantage, but I still use the
f4 on my LX, the f2.8 only on my PZ.

I am in the middle of a long involved computer swap. Once things settle,
first priority is to do key updates to my lens-opinion site, and while there
I will see about adding some 100 f/4.0 information. (Earlier this evening I
recovered my web editor, and through trial and error I was able to recover
my log-in name, etc., so I am almost back in business). Second priority, as
soon as the SCSI-to-USB dongle arrives, is to scan some of my accumulated
photos. At that point I'll put up some comparisons of similar macro shots
(dead leaves, still on the tree, coated with freezing rain, back lit and
otherwise) taken with the f/4.0, the f/2.8, and the 645-120mm f/4.0.
