Don't know about LX's but I've had my black MX serviced at Vintech in
Lonsdale St (cost $198) and one of the silver ones was repaired (not a full
service) at "Precision Camera Services" just off Bourke st (hard to find)
for $110 and I was happy with both. Precision (just one guy, Hans Schmidt)
was quick and cheap and I also had good results on my 500mm takumar with
him.

Nice to know about Shutterbox too. They import a lot of Seagull stuff from
China. It's mostly TLR or Minolta mount but on the Seagull website they list
K mount extension tubes so they may be able to get them imported.
