>From the looks of the 2000 Ferarri 360 my co-worker just purchased, the
Italians are designing nice Formula 1 cockpits with 4 wheels. Though
without a clutch pedal, and no shifter knob (just 2 paddles behind the
steering wheel - "up shift" and "down shift"), I'm not sure if the
transmission is manual or automatic, especially since you can tell the
onboard computer to take over the shifting duties, and put it in fully
automatic. It's quite high tech, despite the amaphroditic nature of the
transmission. :)
