I came away from my girlfriend's hockey tournament this weekend with
some hopefully spectacular stuff (one arena they played at had new glass
all around the boards, so it was barely scratched or scuffed, allowing
me to get out the 24mm and stand directly behind the goalie at ice level
for a whole game), and she came away with a raised mark on her forearm
in the shape of a puck. She stopped the shot, though, and setup a
breakaway, on which she got back up, charged to the net, accepted the
pass back to her and scored, so, in her words (grimacing, as she put an
icepack on her puck-shaped souvenir), "It was worth it!"

Aaron
p.s. She also dislocated her jaw.
