J.C., incidentally, was the one who introduced me to the pleasures of the
Spotmatic. He loaned me one of his "beaters" a few years back.

I did a bunch of pictures with J.C.'s Spotmatic and its Super-Multi-Coated
Takumar lens. Just for fun, I printed up a bunch of pictures taken with the
Leica 50mm f/2 Summicron. Then I gave the prints to several friends and
asked them to tell me which was which.

People routinely picked most of the Spotmatic shots as the Leica lens
pictures. <g>

Really drives Leica snobs crazy, but it's true.
