I support progressing this important work. I made two small comments to Samuel offline on §3.5.7 that he agreed to address: * Generic metrics in IGP are encoded as regular numbers, not IEEE 754. It’s likely a copy/paste issue. * In same paragraph, we should mention that these User defined metrics refer to the IGP Generic metrics. The IGP Generic metrics carry user defined metrics.
