With the emerge and booming of AI based applications, there are more deployments of Ethernet based devices and high-speed links within the DC network, and also the WAN area. There are also the urgent requirements for the QoS assurances within the DC(for example, RoCE), and also the WAN area(for example, HP-WAN). Several years ago, we proposed the VLAN based solution(https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-wang-pce-vlan-based-traffic- forwarding/) that can be applied to the Ethernet environment directly, to achieve the E2E QoS assurances for the key applications. Now we think it is the time to accelerate the forwarding of this document, to address the requirements from the industry in time. Here we want to ask the experts within the PCE WG, do you have further suggestions, comments to our proposal? If there are more interests in this topic, we would like to ask the WG chairs to initiate the formal WG adoption call later. Thanks in advance for your reviews and comments!
