just to let any Audacity users on this list, that version 2.1.3 has just
been released. For the new features in this release, see this page of the

Included in these new features is that labels are now easier to use for
users of screen readers. Please note that the default shortcut for
"play/stop and set cursor" has been changed to the letter X - it was shift
+ a in previous versions of Audacity.

There is a guide to Audacity 2.1.3 which is written for Jaws users, and
nearly all of it is also applicable to users of NVDA and Window-Eyes:
