Chris: you're close; in Winamp, you have a deal where you can hit a command
(control-J" and put in a specific place to go in a file, thus, if you know
(and of course this has to be learned beforehand) and it's no problem, for
Winamp has a way were you can look and see where you're at in a file; you
hit that "control-J" and it'll take you to the exact spot where you left
off! Now Winamp may have a "bookmark" thing too (not exactly sure of how
this works) but the method that I have described works well for me! I'm not
saying that VLC doesn't do this, but I've yet to figure out how you'd do
that with VLC!

Hi. I believe what the original guy I think it was Tom? is talking
about is being able to take a very long audio file, and placing a timed
bookmark in it so if you close your player and re-open it, you can jump
right back to the same exact spot you were when you closed it. Think of
it like placing a bookmark in a book so you can find the correct page.
I know JAWS has this functionality, and Window-eyes does too, but I
don't believe NVDA has an add-on for Winamp with this
functionality...and if it does exist i haven't seen it.
