Hi!

I would never have believed this until I heard it first hand for myself today.

I was speaking to one of the reps at one of my favourite Hi-Fi stores as I
often do given I buy a fair amount of stuff from them.

The quality of our audio is excellent on the phone but up until this point I
had been under the impression that the sales rep and I had been using the
Telstra Mobile network to conduct our calls given that they were in HD Voice
quality.

This hasn’t been the case however. Sure, I’ve been using my Apple iPhone 6S
through FaceTime on the Mac to conduct my end of the conversation but the
people at Stereo Phonic have some sort of VOIP network which is able to
communicate directly with Telstra’s Mobile network thus giving us HD Voice
quality if we have compatible equipment, I obviously do at my end as do the
people at Stereo Phonic.

In my view HD Voice has been the best development for the humble telephone
network in years as it gives the listener outstanding clarity and noise
rejection for voice calls, I believe I’ve uploaded a few demonstrations of this
at various times.
