A kinda far-out question: I have lengthy nighttime recordings of the ambient sounds of my house. I am sometimes startled awake, and I don't know why. But I certainly don't want to have to listen to six/eight-hour recordings, even at triple-speed.
So. Is there accessible software that can identify types of sounds in an audio recording? Engine noise, auto alarm/horn, speech/snore/laugh. Just thought I'd ask. Dale E. Heltzer dehelt...@msn.com
