Firstly, y’re not the only one on a fixed income, I’m in the same boat and i 
saved to get the the P7’S for quite a time but that’s for another day and 
another time but be rest assured I appreciate where you’re coming from.

The B&W P7’S are the top B&W cans and when you see a pair you’ll not only 
understand that they are a top model but You’ll also appreciate that they’re 
standard is far better than most headphones, certainly about the best you’ll 
get for $300 without question, the build quality, the sound experience, the 
luxury of these cans etc so - in short - if you can put some money towards 
these then it will be a very worthwhile investment if you love your audio.
