Yep, think the people at Total Recorder need to update their Recording
Internet Telephony primer, that was written some time ago it seems,
perhaps the people at High Criteria just don't care any more.
As far as I go recording skype? Well I'm an old hand you might say, I
use Audio Hijack on my Mac to do the job and I have an Apple Script
which automates the whole task, make or receive a call and the recording
starts, I can switch to "Manual" mode so that I can start/pause/stop
recording during a Skype call at the press of a hotkey.
I'll fish out a sample of what the recording sounds like, did an
interview with someone for one of the Podcast episodes I did 3 years ago
I think it was, the Podcast was one of three Podcasts dealing with the
excellent Sangean ATS-909X World Band Radio, I'll let the list know when
the sample is available though - now that I've mentioned the Podcasts
themselves - I may as well make all three available <smile>.

Hi there,
I believe someone once mentioned that one could use Total Recorder to record
a skype session. I think that when I tried it, it only recorded the other
person and not both of us.
Is there a good way or program to record a Skype session? I'm taking a few
lessons and want to take advantage of recording them.
If Total Recorder is indeed an option, then how would I modify to where both
of us could appear on the recording?
Thanks!
Jim
