Its a small portable, it would fit into a large coat pocket.

I found the PL-660 and the PL-880 very good on FM and SW.
The PL-880 is better on AM but the PL-660 would be good if it didn't
have so much noise on the AM band.
All-in-all, the PL-880 is a damn good buy and should provide for most
radio listener requirements.
